XRD OUT OF SERVICE

Dear all XRD user,

Our XRD machine is now out of service temporarily until further notice. This is due to the technical problem that we have this morning. The XRD team will re-schedule entirely the affected slots without affecting your turns. The new dates will be given once it is ready for use. 

We will keep you update when the XRD machine re-opens. Therefore, the XRD machine will be unavailable for any classes/labs/projects temporarily. XRD MACHINE IS BACK!

Dear All XRD Users,

The XRD Machine is BACK & READY TO BE USED starting from Monday, 3 December 2018.

Please note that, you cannot keep the XRD sample holder with you and you must clean them back after your session. These include the holder and sample preparation area. (Your mum is not in the lab to do the cleaning for you.)

PIC changed temporarily

Dear All,

I will be taking my maternity leave from 26th of March until 6th of July 2018 and will be back to work (insyaAllah) on the 9th of July 2018, Monday. Therefore, Dr. Norzilah Abd. Halif has volunteered temporarily to take over my job as the PIC of the XRD machine at PPKB when I am away.

She will starts being the PIC of the XRD machine at PPKB from 19th of March 2018, Monday. Starting from that date, please submit all the XRD booking forms or any matters regarding the booking/ cancellation/ postponement to her at her office (first floor of MBM 5). She can be reached at her EMAIL ONLY at (norzilah@unimap.edu.my) or else you can go and see her at her office. WhatsApp msg or handphone msg will not be entertain.
