Dear All XRD Users,

Assalamualaikum and Salam Sejahtera.
Due to the Aidilfitri, XRD Laboratory will be CLOSED from 4th until 15th of July 2016. We will re-open the XRD laboratory on the 18th of July 2016 (Monday) as usual.

A REMINDER TO ALL

1.      Anda hanya dibenarkan untuk menempah 1 slot sahaja sebulan.
(You are only allowed to book for 1 slot only in a month.)

2.      Terdapat dua slot dalam satu hari, slot yang pertama BERMULA pada jam 8.30 pagi dan selesai pada jam 11.30 pagi, manakala slot yang kedua bermula pada jam 2.00 petang dan berakhir pada jam 5.00 petang. BERMULA bermaksud juruteknik akan memulakan pengimbasan XRD pada masa yang tersebut dan anda perlu memastikan sampel anda telah bersedia di atas pemegang sampel terlebih dahulu.
(There are two slots in a day, one in the morning STARTS at 8.30 am and finished by 11.30am, while the other one starts at 2.00 pm and finished by 5.00 pm. STARTS meaning, the technician starts the XRD scanning at that particular time and you have to make sure your sample is ready on the sample holder beforehand.)

3.      Setiap slot diperuntukkan selama <3 jam maksimum termasuk mesin set up oleh technician.
(3 hours maximum including the machine set-up is allocated for every slot.)

4.      Secara asasnya, penentuan <3 jam untuk 1 slot adalah bergantung kepada julat pengimbasan dan kadar masa pengimbasan yang telah ditetapkan oleh pengguna XRD. (Basically, determination of <3 hour per slot is dependent on a scan range and scan rate set by the XRD user.)

5.      Sila pastikan anda datang lebih awal untuk penyediaan sample XRD sebelum waktu slot anda bermula. Ini kerana, jika masa penyediaan sampel anda mengambil masa yang lama, pengimbasan XRD anda akan tertangguh dan ini boleh menyebabkan masa slot anda berkurang. Anda mungkin perlu BERBARIS SEMULA untuk menyelesaikan pengimbasan sampel XRD anda yang dijadualkan siap.
(Please make sure you arrive early to prepare the sample before your XRD slot starts. This is because, if you took longer time to do the sample preparation, your XRD scanning time will delayed and this may cause you a shorter slot time. You may need to RE-QUEUE to complete the scheduled XRD scanning.)

6.      Pastikan borang telah diisi dengan lengkap dan ditandatangani oleh supervisor sebelum dihantar kepada XRD approver. Borang yang tidak lengkap tidak akan diproses oleh XRD approver.
(Ensure that the form is completely filled & signed by supervisor before being submitted to the XRD approver. Incomplete forms will not be processed by XRD approver.)

7.      Jika anda ingin membatalkan slot yang telah anda booking, sila emelkan kepada (farhanahayazi@unimap.edu.my) selewat-lewatnya 3 hari sebelum hari booking anda. (If you want to cancel your booking slot, please email to (farhanahayazi@unimap.edu.my) no later than 3 days prior to your booking session.)

8.      Makmal XRD adalah ditutup sewaktu cuti umum.
(XRD laboratory is closed during public holiday.)

XRD Lab will be closed on 3,4 and 6 May 2016

Dear All,

We are very sorry to inform you that our XRD Lab will be CLOSED for the service on 3rd, 4th and 6th of May 2016. We will resume as usual on the 9th of May, Monday.

Luckily, all the Final Year Students have to submit their report by end of April, and therefore, I do hope there won’t be any issues.

For the postgraduate students, please bear with us and be patience. This is your time to use the XRD again.
